Our barometers are made with solid plantation pine timber and finished in up to 4 different colours. Plantation pine timber is the only way to get an authentic, natural finish to the clock. You can see the wood grain through the varnish, and it makes for a stunning piece. Other manufacturers use cheaper woods and chip boards.
Our barometers also come with solid brass finishings. Solid brass means that the shine stays with the brass as it ages. Many manufacturers use plated brass, which will lose it's shine and sometimes even discolour as it ages.
